Victorian Hairwork Human Hair Bundles 20 Inches Long Golden Brown Braided Thread
Victorian Hairwork Human Hair Bundles 20 Inches Long Golden Brown Braided Thread. Nice long bundles for creating lots of hairwork jewelry. There were from an older estate and I believe could be from the Victorian era given the way they are braided together at the top. They have a slight “old house smell” but nothing overpowering. They could use a cleaning but I will leave that to the buyer. Please look over all of the photos and feel free to ask if you have any questions or concerns.

19th C French Mourning Brooch Clasped Hands
French Mourning Brooch of Clasped Hands, the Victorian symbol is saying a final goodbye to a loved one. The female hand over the male represents the death of a husband. It appears to be lacquered wood, most likely bog oak. A nice piece.
1860-1900 Victorian Mourning Brooch, Guilded Metal, no stones
Historical Significance This piece is characteristic of Victorian mourning jewelry, a popular trend following the death of Prince Albert in 1861. The use of less precious materials like gilt brass was common for mourning pieces, as elaborate gemstones were considered ostentatious during periods of grief.
Antique Blue Enamel Ribbon Pin Double Photo Momento Mori Mourning Brooch
Pin and hook clasp is a bit bent and small…. I am not sure these were originally together as the bow is quite small…. You might like to replace the bow with a better brooch…. the green part is approx 1” long and 1 7/8” wide….
